A wellness tool
ANASPIRA offers simple guided breathing exercises for relaxation and general wellbeing. Everything in the app, including its exercises, visuals, vibrations, and text, is provided for general informational and wellness purposes only.
Not medical care
The app is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not a substitute for the advice of a physician or another qualified health provider, and using it does not create a relationship between you and any healthcare professional. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you have seen in this app.
Not for emergencies
The app is not designed for emergencies. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, stop using the app and call your local emergency number immediately.
Check with your doctor first
Breathing exercises are gentle, but they are not right for everyone. Speak with your doctor before using the app if you are pregnant, or if you have a respiratory condition, a heart condition, blood pressure concerns, a history of fainting or seizures, an anxiety or panic disorder, or any other condition that concerns you.
Listen to your body
Stop an exercise right away if you feel dizzy, lightheaded, short of breath, or unwell in any way. The app also uses gentle vibrations and slow colour changes; you can switch these off at any time from the main screen.
